Melissa Gillespie

Melissa Gillespie oversees public and media relations for CSA Research. She secures research and analyst quote placement in major media channels, such as The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Financial Times, as well as arranging speaking engagements for CSA analysts inside and outside of the language services industry. She also directs the firm’s event strategy and social media marketing.

My Background

Melissa has more than two decades of experience in the fields of marketing and public relations, with past positions at Cox Communications, United States Mission to the United Nations, National Football League, and multiple publications. She was also a freelance copywriter and counted Citigroup and FedEx Kinkos among her clients.

She attended United States International University for its master’s program in international relations and holds a bachelor’s in communications studies and Spanish, with minors in English and political science.

Melissa is based in San Diego, California, has lived in Guatemala, and has travelled extensively throughout Latin America and Europe.

Outside the office

Melissa is a certified spin instructor, belay certified, and an avid hiker and paddle boarder. She regularly competes in trail and mud runs, and is essentially always on the go when not working. She is married with two sons who share her passion for travel.
